Mothers Of Preschoolers

What is MOPS?

Here at MOPS, we gather and support moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together, face to face. That’s why we rally women to come together in their own neighborhoods and help each other through this thing called motherhood, one gathering at a time.

Our acronym stands for “Mothers of Preschoolers” because we began in 1973 when a group of moms of young children banded together to share their lives and parenting journeys. Over the past forty-five years, MOPS has expanded our reach to include moms with older kids, partnering with churches and organizations worldwide to equip and encourage moms in more than 60 countries.

What to expect

A MOPS meeting includes practical teaching through speakers, demonstrations and videos. Plus, all of our moms pitch in by bringing a dish to share every other month... a chance for an uninterrupted meal! And what would a good meeting be without coffee, don't worry, we have that covered. But more important, you'll get to have honest conversations with other moms who understand the joys and frustrations of motherhood. You can also expect us to do life together through play dates, mom's night out, and crafts, just to name a few.

Who can come?

We've all been placed in this time and place in history, as the tribe of women who are raising the world. We know we mother better together, so all moms are welcome at MOPS. From the time you get pregnant to when your kiddo is in Kindergarten, our doors are open
